SOUTH ROYALTON SCHOOL
PARENT TEACHER ORGANIZATION

The PTO
A partnership between parents
and school

The PTO provides an opportunity for parents and teachers to work collaboratively to provide cultural and educational programming and to enhance the general curriculum.

Mission Statement

The intention of the PTO is to work cooperatively with the school administration and faculty, providing enrichment activities as supplemental and auxiliary programs in the performing and graphic arts, communication, science, literature, and motion and recreation. Periodically we may offer programs which collectively benefit parents and families. Such activities may include, but not be restricted to, musical performances, dramatic presentations, various artist-in-residence programs, science workshops, parent learning groups, and literature appreciation presentation programs, among others.    To achieve these goals the “PTO” will raise independent funds  through raffles, direct sales, soliciting donations, auctions, and other activities, which are  intended to increase community support and involvement, and extend awareness of our school, its programs, and its worth within the community at large.
