IN THE NEWS
MS Girls practice will start on Tuesday, December 1st @ 3:00pm in the MS Gym
The following changes have been made to the schedule:
It is time to start thinking about the winter athletic season for the 2015-2016 school year. If you plan on participating in a winter sport at South Royalton School please make sure you have the following completed prior to the first day of practice: (see below for start dates)
- Register for all sports you wish to participate in on GoMYReg (On our school’s website)
- Well Exam – Sports Participation Clearance Form (physical)
- Confirmation of insurance
We will be using GoMyReg.com again to sign up for sports. If you participated last year, your login information will remain the same. Physical expiration dates will also stay in the system but insurance information will need to be updated.
The Well Exam physicals are valid for two calendar years. Please double check the expiration date of your last Well Exam to determine whether you need to schedule one. All dates can be found within your account on GoMyReg.com.
Please make sure to complete every section of the registration. Plan ahead and register for all sports you think you may participate. Registering for a sport does not mean you have to participate in that sport, it just means you can join if you choose. This will make it easier for the athletic department to determine how many teams will be needed prior to the season starting.
This is a reminder that athletes that show up for practices without all paperwork handed in WILL NOT be allowed to participate. Wellness Exam Forms are included in this mailing, or they can be found on the school’s website (www.soroschool.org).
Game and practice schedules will be posted on the school’s website in November. Start dates for basketball, bowling and Nordic skiing are as follows:
JV/V Girls Basketball: November 16th (First game is TBA)
JV/V Boys Basketball: November 16th (First game is TBA)
MS Basketball: November 30th (First game is September TBA)
Nordic Skiing: November 16th (First meet is TBA)
Please do not hesitate to contact the athletic department (763-7740 ext. 204) at any time if you have any questions.
